Hey GARRETT!!! Where's the Mighty Vortex??????

I have one on pre order and they say about the ending around Nov around Thanksgiving they should be in, but not sure how many are ahead of me.
I know I should wait and see how they work out first, but the only way to see what it is all about is getting one to see if it will work for me or my wife.
Going to sell some of my other detectors like my Legend that not been out side yet,, maybe the new MX 5 of whites I got for my wife, but she like her MXT better.
Got to see what Garrett has to offer as the GTAX 1000 got a class ring (1941)and returned it a week later, very old copper arrow Head the first day out so I was impressed. Got a Garrett 1250 but was not for me , but the AT pro did good.
We will see when the new one gets here and run it though my test I do and how it balance and if smaller coils will be made for it, plus there is no wireless headphone for it yet, actually no headphones come with it from what I have seen in the ads.

I contacted Garrett yesterday, and they said around Thanksgiving, but before Christmas. I am looking forward to seeing it in action.

I always liked the V3i, this looks more advanced, but in a simpler format
 
I have to disagree. This doesn’t look even close to being as advanced as a V3I. The scale is really not much different than on the legend. The V3I actually shows each freq and there are 3 simultaneous vs 2 freqs being used and it also had a sizing graph. No offense to the garret fans but from what I’ve seen it’s a marketing ploy of a mediocre SMF detector. The highly anticipated Apex that Garrett touted as being so great was mediocre as well.
I do hope I’m wrong but I doubt it from past experiences and videos.
