How to separate with minimal damage

Donna(NJ

Well-known member
Doing some clean up and found these two silver coins fuzed together. They are not dimes as they are smaller and thicker. Can't remember where I found them. Very pitted like they came out of the ocean. I beach hunt 90%of the time. I also hunt in England. I know I could smack it with a hammer but don't want to destroy if there is detail inside. It's been in a tumbler twice but still stuck. Any ideas??

TIA

Donna, I’d like to help but I’m like the owl in the lollipop commercial trying to figure out how many licks…
