looking for someone who does coil repair

mtdoramike

Well-known member
I was going out detecting this morning and checked my Fisher Coinstrike and found that the coil isn't working. I took the 8" coil off and tried the 5" small coil, which worked fine. I called Fisher and the guy pretty much told me I was out of luck since the model was obsolete. This is my favorite machine and although the 5" coil works, I would like to cover a bit more ground and depth with an 8" coil. So does anyone know who can repair the coil?
