A couple of hunts a private yard yields a 1919 mercury and a 1948 Rosie and a beautiful piece of a solid silver spoon handle that’s monogrammed. I thought I had a that’s monogrammed. I thought I had a silver half dollar.
I then headed off to the rocks on the river got a 193? Washington and a 1/2 Reale in the rocks where I like to detect a local park gave up a few more silver dimes near me a Buffalo nickel can’t wait to get back out on the river oh and picked up a newer Yamaha 25 for the skiff! Now my reliability issues are no more!!!

SILVER, Congrats! The 25 Yamaha is a damn good motor.
Love it was a friends who had it on a heavy aluminum boat he wanted more HP got a 40 so I got a great deal on it so quiet and sips fuel!

Very good finds! Love the Spanish silver! In 35 years of detecting , I have only dug 2 Spanish silver coins - a 1775 2 Real and one that the date was worn off. Best of luck and...
Happy Hunting!

Great finds Mark! You sure have some good spots to hunt!
Thanks squirrel and Ted I have found some nice undetected areas along the river and they continue to produce.

Any famous names that can be tracked to the initials on the spoon handle? I'm guessing that any makers marks are on the part of the spoon that is missing.
