Standing, Barber Quarters, Canadian Large Cent and Some Interesting Relics

Finds are from the past few weekends since my last post. All finds were found at researched public sites with my XP Deus 2 machines.
Sites detected were old schools, city parks and one fairground.
Most of the finds were pulled from North Dakota with some coming from Minnesota.

Both the Standing Liberty and Barber Quarter had some very good depth.
I thought I was digging a big old can lid as the back was facing up on that big makeup compact. I got a nice surprise when I looked at the other side.

That old Eagle Knob was very deep (foot +) and pulled from a Minnesota City Park.
It is a little smaller than a doorknob so it could be some sort of drawer pull knob. Any Ideas welcome.
That sharp Canadian Large Cent also came from Minnesota and was a nice surprise as they don't come up too often anymore.

That huge colorful Armour of God Challenge Coin was pulled from a ND fairgrounds. Although it probably isn't too old, was neat to find. From my research, some challenge coins go back to the 40s.
One of the tokens is a North Dakota merchant token and the other one appears to be a Minneapolis Token.
thanks for looking!
Dave

Dave,
Absolute spectacular finds!
Now that you have many hours under your belt with the Deus 2, and if you were able ( in this equation, you are an XP Engineer), would you make any changes for the end user or would you leave it as is?

Lots of targets as always Dave! Could you show some more pics of the knob, I found something quite similar patriotic wise. You stated plural on the deus 2's is that for coil configurations?

Great finds Dave most of my silver now is black from the river I'm going to new spots where the british
burned up ships so who knows what will turn up!

thanks Jimmy! I would really like to see a colored display on the screen. I use a hood cover also and sometimes with the glare of the sun I have to squint to see my display. The large number display does help though so it isn't like the old Etrac. Maybe I need to research my contrast settings a little more for Deus 2.
Also, coming from the Etrac, I wish they would give even more of a high range for the tones to completely simulate that silver scream the Etrac had. With the Equalizer, High Square tones and Tone Break capability the Deus 2 has, I can get everything to work well for me though.
There is so much information on the audio side of metal detectors that some may overlook.

thanks Ted. This year I have not hunted in Southern MN much at all. Will probably hunt further south as early winter comes as it gets colder and harder ground alot quicker up here.
Nice job Dave! Your research and hard work pays off! How far have you been south in Minnesota? Let me know so I can avoid those areas!! :detecting:

Hi Jeff, yes,
I have a D2 with a 11x13 coil and a 2nd one with an 11-inch coil. Was thinking of buying a 9-inch coil for that 2nd machine as that one/two punch may make more sense. I haven't yet because the machine is so good in iron.
Here are a couple additional pics of that knob. Maybe it is a regular doorknob although it seemed a little small for that. It was a good foot deep and I was hitting other deep items in that section of the park like harmonica reeds and pocket watch pieces so there
must have been an old house site there long ago.
