I have been using my 5.75" Compadre and my 7" Compadre on almost every hunt I have been on lately. Last night I decided to pull out the Eldorado with the 9x8" coil on it to see if I could cover a little bit more ground and get a little bit more depth. It had rained real well for a few days which makes the digging better and seems to make it possible to hit deeper targets. I had it perfectly ground balanced and then went a little bit positive on the ground balancing with the sensitivity set to 10 some of the hunt, to maximum some of the hunt and after a while I had to dial back the sensitivity and increase the discrimination past pull tab. I was digging so many targets and racing against sundown and darkness. The Eldorado was hitting on everything. I dug some pull tabs and coins at what I thought was beyond the depth limit for my Eldorado. I kept digging even after dark because I was having so much fun. I love this detector and will never part with it. I was planning to sell my Bandido ii Umax but I am having second thoughts about selling it now. I plan to take the Bandido ii out this Saturday and will probably end up taking it off the clasified forum. I have a hard time parting with any of my older Tesoro detectors. Beep & dig detectors are my favorite because they make the hobby more interesting for me.
