Big Merchant Tokens, Silver Coins and Pins

The weather has been terribly hot and humid the past few weeks. The cool down last weekend made it much more enjoyable to hunt.
All finds were found at public city parks, schools and one fairground the past few weeks with my XP Deus 2 machine. Hunts are from North Dakota and Minnesota.

A recent Saturday Minnesota hunt was a 5-silver day (see pic of coins in hand). One of the quarters and 2 of the silver dimes were 11+ inches deep.
I ran into a few large merchant tokens in 2 different towns. The $5 and one of the $1 tokens are unlisted.

Even though it isn't very old, I also posted a pic of a 1979 Susan B. Anthony dollar as they don't pop up often.
If anybody knows what that lead mystery item is, please let me know. It seems like my thumb fits on the top side of it so it may be part of an old tool.
The tiny silver PHS pin was a very deep target at an old school site.
Thanks for looking!
Dave

Absolute stunning finds!!

Nice to see you doing good again Dave, always like to see what you are finding on your outings as they seem to be awesome.
that lead item looks to be stopper for something possibly a bottle stopper from my first impression and hope someone else can ID it better.

Great finds Dave you must do a lot of driving on the weekends?

Great finds Dave! Love the unlisted tokens, adding a previously unknown merchant or variety to the historic record is really cool.

Excellent finds, are you using a large coil and factory program . How are you getting. Such depth? My soil is too mineralized too get that depth.

thanks Rick!
My wife had an idea on that lead item. She thought it might be the handle or level from the flue of an old fireplace or stove.
There is a shaft that is broken off at the bottom. That big round lead item in the group picture came from the same site.

thanks. I primarily use the 11x13 coil for the Deus 2. I have a 2nd Deus 2 machine with the 11-inch coil. I use a custom program I created based on the stock Deep HC program.
I always try to run the machine as hot as possible when I am not restricted by EMI, so I am usually running the sensitivity @ 95-99.
