Headed to the UK and I have questions

dough

New member
Headed to the UK soon and taking my D2 and my D1 as my backup. Just wondering if there are any tip or tricks I need to be aware of? Any go to programs that you can suggest? Last any issues with putting them in my carry on luggage?

TIA!

Hi
I’m a barn leader for the Colchester group.
You will have no issues traveling with either of the Deus units in carry on or checking them. I usually have one in my backpack and one checked. The units run perfectly in the UK 🇬🇧 in almost all situations. I just run a general #1 program and crank up the sensitivity. You really will have no problem at all don’t even worry about it at all. Rain gear is important. If you buy cheap you will regret it. Not frog togs brand. But a cheap plastic scraper at the hardware store 75 cents and you will be thankful you did scraping mud from your coil and boots. Maybe you won’t get rain at all. I bring two pinpointers and two batteries. Batteries need to be shipped carefully with tape over the tops and not in the devices. Everything that you have to plug in must be 240v safe. I buy a new package of socks for each trip. Dirt cheap and worth every penny. There are lots of things but I’m rambling. Try my website cttodd. Com some information there. Mostly have fun in the holy land of detecting.
