I always believed that they were over priced . I was wondering that when they first came out they were $350 ---$450.Full disclosure I’m not a Garett fan but I don’t think there’s any question that the ATs are WAY over priced. I’m amazed people are still buying them for more than double what they should be priced at.
I got my ATP when the ATP first came out 2009 or 2010 and it was over $500 back then, and I was never impressed with the ATP at all one of if not the most over rated detectors to have ever been produced in my opinion, it was also the most uncomfortable detectors I ever swungI always believed that they were over priced . Yep, you are 100% rightKids interests always change, need to see if they really stay with one hobby before investing too much money. My wife has spent hundreds of dollars on our grand kids for their hobbies that R short lived.
