Who’s using their d2 flat out?

Hello brother using it onhi gain is fine except around power lines ECT.. run discrimination 10 . Or what works 4 you.. trashy parks , ballfields, going slower helped me find more goodies!! ( Gold) Jewelry) running in disc.is fine' .. I work an area & PICK Scrap OUT.. then go back through... Perhaps using all metal/ ,- BP/ Then you'll go deeper & dig prize items.. you will never get the gold ' without taking scrap out. Hope that helps...⛏️⛏️🤠.

I can get away with about 95-96 here in my area But when in England I can run full.

Easy to do that here when running in clean area... Only cut it back when get into the trash..

On 99 or 98 ? Is it unstable ?
This is just FYI. I can't speak to the Deus as I've never run my D1 or D2 on max sensitivity.
I noticed on a couple older VLF detectors I owned in years past, that when I raised the sensitivity to max, they would pinpoint in a different location from a lower sensitivity setting.
I'm sure the PP function on the Deus is just fine at max settings. But many seldom use the PP function, but rather pinpoint using the normal discriminated settings.
If the distorted pinpoint phenomenon occurs on the Deus at max settings, you may end up striking your target when digging a plug.
Exactly what I did when using the older detectors at max sensitivity until I figured out what was going on.

On my property, there is simply too much chatter maxed out. I have to drop around 60-65. Of course, I'm a newly with the D2 so maybe I can learn some tricks in order to run at higher sensitivity.

Yea in my soil I can run 95 most of the time. If there’s interference the down to 90.

I can run 93-95 most areas except some areas have too much emi. I can usually run the pinpointer at 45.

Hello
Just a thought as you are new to your D2. Have you tried to scan for another frequency? "Noise cancelling" and also where is your ground balance set? There are times that these things make a big difference.
Play with things. You won't mess anything up unless you save it. If you want to start over just turn the unit off and it will revert to what you had before you messed with it. Nice feature for experimentation.
Get out there
