Been awhile since I’ve posted but Im still alive and kicking…..
Had a funeral, found out a close cousin in hospice, had a close friend fall into a culvert washout (out just hiking the old logging roads and it got dark faster than she anticipated) and spent the night down in the crevice. Search and Rescue called out but she was able to crawl out after a couple hours and limp back to her car. Scary few hours for me, she’s the cutie Ive been teaching this hobby.
Wife and I are taking off today for an Alaskan Cruise, back the 22nd. This should be an adventure!!!
I have been out a couple times but no earth shattering finds. Just a little time to find myself in the haze.

Have fun in my real home state.. Enjoy all of the real sites, not just the tourist areas. Get a book that is put out every year called The Milepost. It is a true guide to every road and real place you will want to see in the state.. You can metal detect almost anyplace except on any mining claims and don't even try on some of the old mine tailings.. That will get you in trouble real quick.. Enjoy real Alaska..
