How to clean pink coins

Previously I stated I had good luck using lemon or limes. However for some reason it just wasn’t working this time. I might have let them run too long 24 hrs. So now they are really pink. Friend had mentioned using $1 store Lime a way to clean brown coins. So I squeezed a bit I. And let tumble for 12 hours. Low and behold 99% back to shiny silver. CLR is the same thing.

Im running a batch of dirty coins with CLR and see how it comes out. I use stainless steel shot and it really polished them like new. Only took me 20 years to find an easy cleaning solution. good luck !!

Wow, if CLR or Lime-A-Away work, I'm going to give it a shot for sure. I personally use hot water, dawn dish soap, and fish tank gravel. When i check back after 5-6 hours, some pink still remains and some are completely cleaned.

Thanks for sharing.
