Beach confusion…
I’m in Clearwater area now Watched one guy dig a whole almost to shoulder depth Probably deep iron but they walked away and I told them they had to fill it in There response was the tide will fill it in Needless to say I did it Trailed them a bit and they never filled a single hole back- robo

Just seems very conflicting to me. Want to stay on the right side of the law. Common sense tells me I should be able to use a sand scoop but common sense definitely isn’t the law- robo

In gulf shores Al on our way to Florida. Want to do some Detecting since we’re staying right on the beach. This sign is at the beach Does this mean I can’t use my sand scoop? Looked up local ordinance and it doesn’t say anything about using a sand scoop Your thoughts?- robo

Where did all the metal detectors go.
I was wondering the same thing. Seems like a few years ago you would see a steady flow of used detectors on the classifieds. Now it's just a trickle. I can't seem to wrap my head around it.- robo
