    yes, 3 people i know have had warranty replacement control units, one has had 6 during the warranty period for water leaks !

    It does, a lot have suffered leaks. Also weak coil ears, repaired many many times of people who have owned them.

    It appears minelab are aware of shortcomings on 600/800 and have improved things on that front and added a few extra features. Not a Legend user but think they are trying to claw back some things, trouble is minelab are still twice the price.

    The CTX has been out for 10 years now. I was one of the early adopters getting it one in first month or so. And I still use it.
