Who would like to see a new Explorer xs come out with a lighter and waterproof housing and coil.

It still would be competitive with today's detectors.

The Triple Score is a winner!

Went to my local newer park to see what I could find. The only modification from factory settings was I put it in 3 tone instead of the factory 2 tone. Found a few coins in heavy junk areas next to the picnic tables. TID was perfect. No falsing at all. Also did some testing with coi s next to...

Tried out my new Nokta Triple Score...

Great detector with world class target separation. Easily hits a coin right next to a 4" rusty nail. Super all around unit. Highly recommended. The Pro Pak may be the best deal for detectors ever. 2 coils and wireless headphones. $479.

Anyone tried this with their detectors

Detectors used to come with metal lower rods. The manufacturers said that it didn't affect anything because the lower rod and the coil moved at the same time and kept the same distance from each other.

    On/Off button

Yes, they are stout buttons. Unpacked my 3 Score last night and quickly got used to the firm buttons.

    Triple Score Question

I just unpacked my 3 Score and did some tests on my parking lot. I'm very impressed. It has as good of target separation as any detector I've used. Troy x5, Nox 600, White's Sport, Deus 1. The pro pak for under $500 is the best deal going right now.

    First impression of the Ultra.

Capable detector. Nice air depth on dimes. Screen icons way too small. Haven't tried the wireless headphones yet. I loved my MX Sport. Big screen. Loved rusty bottle caps though.

    Deeptech vs. Tesoro machines?

The Viste is an awesome detector. Great depth and among the best in Iron and even mineralized soil.

Pulled the trigger on an Ultra.

Got the middle rod unstuck. However, the extra goodies promised in their ad were not included.

Pulled the trigger on an Ultra.

Looks like the middle rod is there but is stuck inside the lower rod. It won't come out even with tools. I'm also missing other stuff from their ad.

Pulled the trigger on an Ultra.

I should have know better than to buy from Kellyco. The Simplex Ultra I received is missing the middle rod. Also, the connector for the rods is up by the coil mounting hole. Never again.
