Metal Detecting Maps

Dear Folks,

I am currently starting to post metal detection maps, where I am posting maps to the online map service, Avenza. For my first product line, I am posting to the onine Avenza Map site near shore shipwreck sites along the US coastline. FYI: Avenza Maps is an online supplier of maps that downloads GPS enabled maps to your iphone or Android. The first maps show shipwrecks along some famous beaches in Florida, and the wind direction as an annual wind rose on the maps. The wind rose and mapped wreck locations helps to determine where wind driven current moves wreckage debris towards and onto shorelines annually. It gives people a reasonable idea where to go with a metal detector where you can metal detect shipwreck debris.

Still trying to determine pricing on these maps; perhaps you folks can drop comments on what you consider reasonable pricing on maps, and is there any particular aspect of a map that addes value in your metal detecting search.
With maps on your phone you don't have to struggle with physical maps in beach winds, while handling a metal detector and digging equipment at the same time. I strap my phone to my arm, and just keeping swinging!.

Here is the Avenza map landing page for my product:

I am developing a second product line for nugget hunters - those folks who love finding gold nuggets - where I am applying the same techniques as mining companies to find gold in the ground for metal detection people -I've spent a lot of time as a geologist doing exactly this kind of mapping for gold mine exploration companies so that they can find "hotter" areas where gold can be found in the ground. I thought from this long experience, why not do the same for people who metal detect, and who want the fun of finding more nuggets in hotter areas for gold?

Stay tuned for these types of maps: I haven't uploaded any of these nugget hunting maps as of yet to Avenza, as I am working out details on how to mass produce these maps across the USA in gold states such as California, Alaska, North Carolina, etc. I also have spent a long time working out gold hotspots in Australia: Australia just simply knocks the socks off of anywhere else with respect to higher value finds with respect to gold nuggets.

Respectfully,
Jim Chisholm
