Metal detecting pouches with large capacity and pockets for pinpointer, hand digger tool and small water spray bottle. Overall dimensions are 8” wide by 4” deep by 11” tall. A separate zippered, deep pocket made with #10 YKK zipper with paracord loop on the slide for easy grip operation even with muddy gloves. Zippered pocket is isolated from the main pouch so no dirt gets into it. Includes sewn in 6” wide belt loop for up to 2-3/4” wide belt. Two nickel plated steel d-rings are included for attaching lanyard or carabiner... one inside the zippered pocket and one outside next to the pinpointer pocket. Large capacity internal pouch for coins or small finds includes a heavy coated mesh bottom panel to allow dirt or sand to sift into bottom of the main pouch.

I am a metal detectorist who wanted a high quality, large capacity, durable bag that would handle the most common tools carried by detectorists. I am a USAF veteran and make these in my basement shop on a Juki DU1181n Industrial walking foot sewing machine, using Polyurethane coated 1000D Cordura fabrics for strength and durability. Each bag is made from 23 individual components sewn together with T70 bonded nylon thread. All raw edges are double stitched and bound with 1” mil-spec grosgrain binding to eliminate fraying.

I make these to be worn on either the left hip for those who swing their detector with their right hand, and right hip for left handed swinging. The orientation of each puts the pinpointer and hand digger towards the front for easy access. Please specify which hip you want to wear your bag on.
