Well…as they say, all good things must eventually go somewhere else, so I am selling my beloved CTX. I am simply moving to another tech right now for a few reasons that don’t matter, so here is what’s for sale.
2016 CTX with 11” coil, 17” coil and 3 genuine Minelab rods. The 17” coil cable has been repaired at the lower end as you can see, 2 of the 4 wires had broken internally and had to be soldered and wrapped. Both coils work exactly as they should, I feel it is a solid and reliable repair. I’ve got about 50 hours on the 17” coil since fixing it so I’m not worried.
Other than that, all 3 rods have bolts and washers, except one rubber washer escaped and I can’t find it anywhere. No big. The rechargeable battery and one of the AA packs were new this spring from Serious Detecting. The charger and batteries are excellent and work flawlessly.
The screen is in excellent condition, no cracks, defects, missing pixels, etc. The body and housing of the main unit are excellent with a few scuffs from being in the trunk on the way to sites.
This has been an INCREDIBLE machine for me and has found me many many MANY deep old coins. My YouTube channel is “Wizards of Wisconsin”, you can see the machine being used there on several occasions. You get everything you see on the towel and it will be shipped in its original box.
Price is $1,500 firm. The extra large coil and spare 2 rods are $750 retail alone, so I feel as if someone will get a great deal on an absolutely PHENOMENAL machine.
