I have 5 CTX’s. As far as I know they all work fine. I continue to use the one I first bought. The others I bought used in not working condition and got them working. I’m a EE and fix things. Problem is - they did not come with any accessories. So obviously I don’t need 5 CTX’s and would like to play with the Manticore. I have other detectors too - I’ll be posting those later. Let’s just say I’m like a detector shop now and I need to thin the herd while still having fun. So let me know if you have a Manticore and what it would take to make it mine. Also let me know what you think a fair price is for a CTX without accessories. It remains my favorite detector but the weight is risking my elbow and tendons - even with the ML harness.
