    D2 audio settings.

I'm liking the Full Tones 2. Seems to bring out the iron grunt so much clearer. I can hear the ever so slight bad in a pull tab.

    Whites "Flagship" Detector ?

I'm an old DFX fan, and I'd say V3i. The DFX/MXT were groundbreakers, but at the end, I'd say they fail to the V3i.

Some reflections on the current state of silver coin hunting

To be honest, I haven't had a major increase in finds, silver or not, since the White DFX was out. I am pretty much the only detectorist in my area, so competition isn't an issue. Yes, I had the CTX 3030, and all, including the Manticore. None made any major bump in recoveries since the DFX...

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

I believe TNSHARPSHOOTER is Calabash Digger. If you watch their videos, they're done by the same person.

Is calabash testing the new xp icon ?

He doesn't take criticism well. He's right, or you're wrong.

    Single frequency vs Multi frequency

For me, my lack of praise for SMF detectors is in the field use. I have owned them all from the 800, Legend, D2, which I still own, and the Manticore. I took each to hot spots where I had found many good items, and not a single missed keeper was found with any of them. I agree under certain...

    Single frequency vs Multi frequency

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is the key to success. I use multi-frequency occasionally, quick hunt or new park, but I prefer single frequency. Seems more readable to me.

Tired of digging can slaw and some other trash with HF2 coil. Looking for gold rings ?

I hunt with the D2 and the 9" FMF and feel happy with my odds of gold. By far, most of the gold I find is 3" or less. At that depth in Fast 40 I can hear any iron buzz and know it is most likely junk. I have checked my results with listening for the iron buzz and have yet to find any gold that...

Deus 2 audio jack adapter for ws6 puck hardwired into full size headphones ?

Never tried to hardwire it, I just bought the WS5 headphones.

    Silver shortage

My average finds, silver & gold, have been going down for the last 5 years.

Here’s what Xp told me today via email on Hf2 coil availability

Yeah, I'm still wondering what the HF2 will cost here in the states. I'm guessing around the $600 area.

Here’s what Xp told me today via email on Hf2 coil availability

Maybe by the end of the year? Oh boy, how ...um.... mildly inspiring. Thanks, Dave.

Tired of digging can slaw and some other trash with HF2 coil. Looking for gold rings ?

Looked to me like about a 5-point rise in the ring using MIONO as opposed to General with the stock coil? Pretty sure I saw 55 in MOINO and 50 in General. I haven't been able to get the HF2 coil anyway, but just saying.

    New to the Manticore

I had the Manticore for a while, but liked my D2 better and sold the Manticore. The Manticore is a great detector, and easier to run than the D2, but I like the D2 tones.
